Comprehensive Surveillance and Downlink System Will Enable Long Range Transmission of Real Time HD Video and Data Between Multiple Agencies Across the Region

LOS ANGELES (February 28, 2018) -- CNC Technologies, an aviation technology and wireless communications company serving the law enforcement, military and government markets, announced today its selection by the Atlanta Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI) to implement a comprehensive airborne counterterrorism solution.  Designed to enhance regional preparedness and improve emergency response, the turnkey system will support real-time sharing of HD video and data between multiple area law enforcement and public safety agencies.  This includes law enforcement agencies in the City of Atlanta and the five counties of Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton and Gwinnett.

In addition to designing and deploying the downlink solution, CNC will provide 24/7, 365-day-a-year support, ongoing operator training and a three-year parts and labor warranty on all aspects of the system.

“Airborne assets are a critical element in managing public safety efforts across large, urban environments and the new downlink brings an enhanced level of capability to the region’s operators, particularly in the ability to coordinate joint responses during major operations,” said Ron Magocsi, founding partner at chief technology officer at CNC Technologies.  “We are pleased to partner with the ARC and its Atlanta UASI jurisdictions on this important assignment and look forward to working together to assist with their public safety efforts.”
