CNC Highlights Capabilities of CNC.LIVE in Support of Super Bowl LVI and Customers Across the US
Defense Grade Online Portal Utilized By Inglewood Police Department, LA County Sheriff’s Department and Hawthorne Police Department To Support Public Safety Efforts at this Year’s Big Game
LOS ANGELES (March 4, 2022) – CNC Technologies, an aviation technology and wireless communications company serving the law enforcement, military and government markets, announced today the deployment of its cloud-based, CNC.LIVE solution as the airborne law enforcement video and data hub for Super Bowl LVI. First adopted as part of the public safety efforts for Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta, Georgia, CNC.LIVE is a defense-grade online portal for hosting, viewing, sharing real-time aerial downlink footage from multiple aircraft and drones in a central location.
For this year’s event, CNC.LIVE was utilized by the Inglewood Police Department, LA County Sheriff’s Department, Hawthorne Police Department and Federal agencies to coordinate all of their drone and aircraft operations over and around Inglewood’s Sofi Stadium. Developed by CNC to enhance situational awareness and support multi-agency response during large scale operations, CNC.LIVE enables commanders and staff to securely access live video from their department’s helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft and UAVs from any internet-connected device.
“CNC.LIVE is the industry’s most advanced airborne intelligence solution for centralizing multiple video and data streams and delivering it to the people who need it most, providing actionable, real-time intelligence to officers on the ground,” said Ron Magocsi, founding partner and chief technology officer at CNC Technologies. “We are pleased to have played a role in supporting the public safety efforts during this year’s Super Bowl.”
CNC.LIVE is currently in use by more than 20 agencies including the Texas Department of Public Safety, Broward County Sheriff and the Mississippi Department of Public Safety. CNC’s newest CNC.LIVE customer is the Omaha Police Department, who will be using CNC.LIVE to display video and data from their fleet of helicopters. “CNC.LIVE is a game-changer for our agency,” said OPD’s Chief Pilot Frank Peck. “It provides our operational personnel with live video for in-progress calls and critical incidents. We look forward to using it for the upcoming College World Series, Olympic Swim Trials and other major events happening in Omaha.” In addition to sporting events like Super Bowl LIII and Super Bowl LVI, CNC.LIVE has played a key role in response efforts during hurricane season, providing coverage to agencies from Texas to Florida.
The CNC.LIVE platform provides robust data protection for its users, and it is housed on secure servers used by the Department of Defense and other government agencies for their sensitive assets. The solution leverages CNC’s deep expertise developing state-of-the-art airborne law enforcement and intelligence systems for major government operators and is backed by the company’s 24/7, 365-day-a-year support.
