CNC Technologies, an aviation technology and wireless communications company serving the law enforcement, military, and government markets, announced today they’ve been selected to provide microwave video downlink equipment for the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Cessna 206 airplane and ground infrastructure.
CNC will equip the aircraft with a top-of-the-line microwave video downlink system, and they will also provide ground-based receive equipment. This includes semi-permanent installations to support long-term operations and a portable receiver for use in areas of the county lacking downlink coverage.
“We are very excited to be working on this project with the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office,” said Alex Giuffrida, founding partner at CNC Technologies. “We look forward to assisting the agency and the region with more projects in the future.”
The addition of the ground infrastructure – given the close proximity to the East Bay Regional Parks District Police Department – is expected to enhance regional operations and improve interagency collaboration.
