About the Role
We’re seeking a highly skilled Technical Trainer to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and delivering hands-on training programs for CNC’s latest aviation ISR mission suite technologies and live video distribution systems. The Technical Trainer will play a critical role in ensuring our clients are fully equipped to operate and maintain CNC’s mission-ready solutions with confidence and precision.
In this position, you’ll travel to customer locations to lead immersive 2–3 day training sessions several times per month. When not on-site, you’ll manage scheduling, prepare training materials, and collaborate with internal teams to support upcoming deliveries and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for aviation ISR mission suite technologies
Conduct on-site, hands-on sessions for law enforcement, government, and military clients
Evaluate knowledge transfer and adapt training to meet varied learning needs
Manage training communications, logistics, and scheduling
Collaborate with CNC Technicians to document aircraft sign-offs and ensure readiness
Work closely with the VP of Training and Commissioning to maintain program excellence
Qualifications
Prior airborne law enforcement experience (in good standing)
Proven background in leading law enforcement, government, or military training programs
Expertise in instructional design and educational methodologies
Strong knowledge of aviation mission suite technologies, including:
Camera systems: FLIR, L3 Harris, Trakka
Mapping systems: Shotover Navigation, Trakka Map
Radios & ICS: TDFM, AEM, Becker
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to assess progress, provide feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction
Technological proficiency and comfort working with complex systems
