About the Role
We’re seeking a highly skilled Technical Trainer to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and delivering hands-on training programs for CNC’s latest aviation ISR mission suite technologies and live video distribution systems. The Technical Trainer will play a critical role in ensuring our clients are fully equipped to operate and maintain CNC’s mission-ready solutions with confidence and precision.

In this position, you’ll travel to customer locations to lead immersive 2–3 day training sessions several times per month. When not on-site, you’ll manage scheduling, prepare training materials, and collaborate with internal teams to support upcoming deliveries and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for aviation ISR mission suite technologies

  • Conduct on-site, hands-on sessions for law enforcement, government, and military clients

  • Evaluate knowledge transfer and adapt training to meet varied learning needs

  • Manage training communications, logistics, and scheduling

  • Collaborate with CNC Technicians to document aircraft sign-offs and ensure readiness

  • Work closely with the VP of Training and Commissioning to maintain program excellence

Qualifications

  • Prior airborne law enforcement experience (in good standing)

  • Proven background in leading law enforcement, government, or military training programs

  • Expertise in instructional design and educational methodologies

  • Strong knowledge of aviation mission suite technologies, including:

    • Camera systems: FLIR, L3 Harris, Trakka

    • Mapping systems: Shotover Navigation, Trakka Map

    • Radios & ICS: TDFM, AEM, Becker

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to assess progress, provide feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Technological proficiency and comfort working with complex systems
